Teeth Whitening

Foods, drinks, cannabis and tobacco use can all darken teeth over time.  Scaling and dental polishing can remove surface stains, but it takes something more to remove the old stains under the surface.  Professional whitening products can remove  deeper stains revealing a brighter, whiter smile.  It may just be the confidence boost you need.  

In-office teeth whitening is done onsite in the clinic.  We give you special goggles to wear, use  a retractor to keep your cheeks and lips out of the way, and place a protective barrier on your gums to keep them covered.  We use a professional peroxide blend gel that gives amazing results with little to no sensitivity.   A special LED light is used to boost the results.  

Take-home teeth whitening kits include custom-made trays for your teeth and several tubes of a peroxide gel to put  in them.   Impressions of your teeth are taken so we can make the trays the perfect fit.  Everything you need to whiten your teeth at home, is in the kit.  You will wear the trays every day for 1-2 weeks.  

Teeth whitening strips can be bought at pharmacies.  These come in a standard size, so they may or may not fit your teeth.  The strips contain a whitening gel, are folded over the teeth and worn daily for 2 weeks.
